TOKYO, October 8, 2026 – Astellas Pharma Inc. (TSE: 4503, President and CEO: Naoki Okamura, “Astellas”) today announced that the company has ranked first in the pharmaceuticals sector for the “2026 Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure” granted by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) to promote the quality and fairness of corporate disclosure. This marks the eighth time Astellas has received this recognition.

Astellas ranked first in four of the five evaluation categories. In particular, Astellas received higher scores than in the previous year in the categories of “Management's Commitment to Investor Relations, Function of the IR Department, and Basic IR Stance” and “Disclosure of ESG-related Information,” which contributed significantly to its strong overall evaluation.
